hi

I found 2 way to do this

1- by the plugin
I found 1 plugin named remove footer credits and one another I forgot the name.
you can check here how to remove powered by wordpress by plugin there are many plugins for that job. but I dont wanna do this by plugin.

2- manually

which one should I go with? manually its bit technical can anyone help me because I heard that lot of plugins will slow down your website that's why i dont wanna install new plugin for this small job,

also found this code on google said to just move this from footer.php

<a href="<?php echo esc_url( __( 'https://wordpress.org/', 'twentynineteen' ) ); ?>" class="imprint">
<?php
/* translators: %s: WordPress. */
printf( __( 'Proudly powered by %s.', 'twentynineteen' ), 'WordPress' );
?>
</a>

so will it work? or my theme will crash?
