Good Day, Web Hosting Support Forum members!

I have experience developing websites and web apps using MySQL databases. I have just encountered MongoDB and my colleagues suggested I try to make databases using it. Has anyone here have experience creating and maintaining websites with both? Can you list some advantages and disadvantages of these databases?

MySQL uses Structured Query Language SQL in fetching, updating, deleting data from the database. Whereas, MongoDB uses unstructured Query Language. The document with properties are specified to display the desired result. It can handle and store large volume of unstructured data better than MySQL. But if you are dealing with an accounting system or any system which requires relational database, then choose MySQL.
